Barring all unforeseen circumstances, the National Hajj Commission (NAHCON), in collaboration with Kaduna State Pilgrims Welfare Board will flag-off construction of a 5-star hotel at Kaduna State Hajj Transit Camp on Sunday.
Hajj Reporters, an NGO charged with the responsibility of monitoring and reporting Hajj activities in Nigeria and Saudi Arabia, disclosed this in Kaduna on Saturday.
According to the NGO, the event, slated for11 a.m, is expected to attract hajj stakeholders across the country.
It further revealed that the project, was part of the ongoing renovation, upgrade and construction of pilgrims’ Hotel at Hajj camps across the country by the outgoing NAHCON board led by Barrister Abdullahi Mukhtar.
The NGO learnt that the Hotel, when completed, would serve as a transit temporary accommodation for pilgrims during hajj airlift and serve as a source of revenue generation for Kaduna State Pilgrims Welfare, Board during off hajj season.
