Board tasks LGA officials to exhibit transparency in dealing with intending pilgrims

Bauchi State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board has tasked newly appointed Hajj Local Government officials to be honest in dealing with pilgrims and discharge their duties with utmost seriousness.
The Ag. Executive Secretary of the Board, Mal. Alkasim Shall, gave the adviced at the opening of a one day sensitisation workshop to the new officials held at the Conference Hall of the Board in Bauchi.
Alkasim stressed the need for the officials to be dedicated to their duty and abide by rules and regulations of the service as well as desist from in any act capable of tarnishing the image of Gov.Bala Abdulkadir administration.
He commended the present administration in the state for continued provision of an enabling working environment ensuring quality services to pilgrims as well as hitch-free exercises.
Alkasim, therefore, callec on the people of thestate to fervently pray for the Bala-led administration to enable it adequately tackle the challenges of the state ahead.
Participants at the workshop include the management of the Board, Desk Officers who are staff of the Board and newly local government Hajj Affairs Officers.
Highlight of the occasion was distribution of appointment letters to the Local Government Hajj Affairs Officers and other account record books.
