(Ilorin)

Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has warned killer-gangs and other criminals to stay away from, saying that his administration had zero tolerance for any killer-gang in the state.

The governor said this in a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Rafiu Ajakaye in Ilorin on Thursday.

Duaglobalnews reports that the statement cames as the government mobilised security agencies to Baruten Local Government Area to dislodge a group of suspected criminals.

The criminals are reported to have come from a neighbouring state and camped in a forest in the area.

Abdulrazaq admonished that while the state government “welcomes every Nigerian who wishes to make a decent living in Kwara, there would be zero tolerance for any individual or group of individuals to make life unbearable for others.”

He, however, noted with delight that government’s proactive steps had resulted in the immediate dislodgement of the suspected criminals.

The governor, therefore, commended the Nigerian Army for helping to rid the area of the suspected criminals.

He urged members of the public to be vigilant and always volunteer information,in record time,to security agencies with a view to nipping in the bud criminal tendencirs in order to continue keeping Kwara safe.
