The Egbira Avaibe Association (EAA), has reaffirmed its commitment towards unity, peace, and the collective social, economic and developmental growth of members.
The Chairman of the association,Hon.Musa Akaba, stated this during the first meeting of the association in Lokoja during which members of the Association deliberated on issues affecting its progress and internal cohesion.
The Chairman emphasized that the association must always take precedence over individual interests.
According to him, unity remains the Association’s greatest strength, adding that it is also the key to achieving sustainable development among members,
urging then to continue to uphold the spirit of togetherness and mutual respect that has so far defined the group.
Our correspondent reports that during the meeting, members engaged in extensive and constructive discussions on critical matters bordering on the Association’s growth.
Sensitive issues were addressed through dialogue and mediation, leading to peaceful resolutions reached in an atmosphere of understanding and brotherhood.
Reinforcing his call for unity, the Chairman commended members for the strong bond they have maintained, reminding them that “united we stand, divided we fall” and prayed that no force would succeed in causing disunity within the Association.
Hon. Akaba also expressed appreciation to the Association’s Woman Leader for her commitment and sacrifices, as well as to individuals who have continued to support the Association financially and morally, notong that such contributions have played a vital role in strengthening the Association and advancing its objectives.
In his remarks, the Association’s Patron II, Alhaji D. U. Ahmed, encouraged members to remain active, focused and united.
He stressed the importance of collective responsibility and advancement in social, political and economic spheres, assuring members that consistency and unity would lead to better opportunities.
Alhaji Ahmed provided updates on the ongoing registration process of the Association,describing the meeting as peaceful, impactful, and reflecting the shared vision of members to build a strong, united and progressive Association.
