Dr. Rufus Ebegba, Grand Patron of Team Sen. Oluremi for Tinubu 2023–2027, has assured Nigerians that the nation will experience significant relief from insecurity and other challenges before the end of President Bola Tinubu’s first term in office.
Ebegba gave the assurance at the group’s national meeting on Thursday in Abuja, where stakeholders reviewed the administration’s progress since 2023 and mapped out strategies ahead of 2027.
“On the issue of insecurity, I want to say, before 2027, Nigerians will breathe a sigh of relief. Our enemies will be defeated, bandits terrorising our people will be brought to their knees and surrender to the federal government,” Ebegba declared.
He stressed that the Tinubu administration is laying strong foundation for sustainable growth, pointing to reforms in security, the economy, healthcare, power, and transportation.
“The government is putting in place structures and programmes that will sustain both present and future generations,” he said, noting improvements in medical facilities, expansion of renewable energy options such as solar power, and ongoing upgrades to the national rail system.
According to him, the Abuja meeting was designed to review both successes and challenges of the administration, while encouraging members to take the government’s message of progress back to their states.
“We are hoping that at the end of today, all Nigerians will embrace the current administration, support President Tinubu, and plan with him towards 2027,” he said.
Ebegba described President Tinubu as a patriot with a proven track record, saying a second term would enable him to consolidate his reforms.
He also praised the First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, describing her as “a mother and a woman who believes in Nigeria and is committed to sustainable programmes that will strengthen the country.”
Also speaking, Mr. Kelvin Ezekiel, convener of Team Sen. Oluremi for Tinubu 2023–2027, commended the administration for its education initiatives, particularly the introduction of the student loan scheme.
He applauded stakeholders for their commitment to providing solutions that will help the government address national challenges.
