Ex Kogi governor Ibrahim Idris has described the death of Kogi state Chief Judge, Justice Nasir Ajanah, as a great loss to the state.

Idris, in a statement personally signed and issued to journalists on Sunday, said Ajanah’s death came at a time when the state needed his professional and fatherly role.

The former number one citizen recalled his working relationship with the late Chief Judge, saying he was an unbiased and unblemish public officer while in service.

Ibrahim sympathised with the state government at this trying period, noting that especially not too long ago, it lost the President of the Customary Court of Appeal, Late Justice Shaibu Atadoga.

He urged the family the deceased to take solace that, the late Chief Judge lived a life of exemplary and discipline traits, prayed for the repose of his soul.

The ex-Governor also prayed God to reward Ajanah with Aljana firdaus and the family, the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
