The Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) Alumni Association, Kogi State Branch, is gearing up for a historic and colorful occasion,the turbanning of its distinguished Chairman, Engr. Abdulsalami Mohammed Sagir.
According to the organizers, the prestigious event is scheduled for Saturday, September 13, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., and will hold at the Palace of the Magaji of Lokoja, His Royal Highness, Alhaji (Dr.) Ibrahim Gambo Kabir Maikarfi IV.
The ceremony promises to be a celebration of leadership, culture, and excellence, as members, dignitaries, friends, and well-wishers gather to honor Engr. Sagir’s towering contributions and commitment to service.
A grand reception will follow immediately at the Madabo Centre, Lokoja, where guests will be treated to a blend of tradition, entertainment, and camaraderie befitting the occasion.
