Members of the Nigerian Guild of Editors,NGE on Friday ,gathered in Enugu for their Biennial National Convention, a vibrant convergence of media professionals committed to shaping the future of journalism and national discourse.

This year’s convention, themed “Building a Secure and Cohesive Nigeria: The Role of Dialogue, Inclusion, and the Media,” has drawn more than 350 editors from across the country.

The gathering is not just about policy discussions and professional exchange; it also marks a critical moment in the Guild’s calendar, the election of a new executive committee to steer its affairs in the coming years.

Amid engaging sessions and panel discussions, participants are delving into the media’s pivotal role in fostering national unity, strengthening security, and championing inclusive governance. The energy in the room reflects a shared commitment to using the power of the press as a force for positive change in Nigeria.
