Kogi Hails Tinubu’s Appointments of Indigenes, Pledges Continued Support for FG

The Kogi State Government has expressed deep appreciation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for appointing several illustrious sons and daughters of the state into key positions at the federal level.

The state described the move as a clear demonstration of the President’s commitment to inclusive governance and national development.

In a statement signed by the Commissioner for Information and Communication,in Kingsley Fanwo,in Lokoja ,Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo conveyed heartfelt gratitude to the President, describing the appointments as a “demonstration of confidence in the capacity, competence, and character” of Kogi indigenes.

“These appointments reflect Mr. President’s unwavering belief in the strength of our nation’s diversity and the unique contributions each state brings to the nation

“We are proud that once again, Kogi citizens have been found worthy to serve at the highest levels of government,’ the statement read.

The government also described the appointments as both an honour and a call to duty, urging the appointees to be worthy ambassadors of Kogi State by upholding the principles of excellence, integrity, and service.

“The elevation of our sons and daughters is not just a recognition, but a responsibility, to deliver results, uphold public trust, and reflect the core values of Kogi State,” the statement emphasized.

Fanwo further reaffirmed Kogi State’s readiness to partner with the Federal Government in driving development within the state and across the nation.

“Kogi remains resolute in its support for Mr. President and will continue to collaborate closely with his administration to build a prosperous Nigeria for all,” he added.

The State Government also congratulated the appointees and encouraged them to serve diligently as proud representatives of the Confluence State.
