Alhaji Sule Salihu Enehe, the Executive Chairman of the Kogi State Internal Revenue Service, has been a game-changer since he joined the service in 2016. He Initially served as Executive Director and Technical Adviser to the then-Executive Chairman, Alhaji Yakubu Oseni, his outstanding performance led to his appointment as the Acting Chairman of the Service, and eventually, the Executive Chairman.

Enehe’s Impact on Revenue Generation

When he assumed office on November 17, 2021, the Service was generating a mere 700 million naira monthly. Many doubted his ability to turn things around, but he proved them wrong. Under his leadership, revenue generation has skyrocketed to an average of 2 billion naira monthly, with prospects for further growth .

Staff Welfare Initiatives

Enehe’s achievements extend beyond revenue generation. He has implemented numerous staff welfare initiatives, including:

– *Payment of Outstanding Pensions*: Three months’ worth of pension arrears were paid to staff.

– *Introduction of Steps/Notches for Workers:* A new system to promote career growth.
– *Payment of Outstanding Debt:* 300 million naira was paid to settle organisational debt.

– *Staff Promotions and Financial Benefits*: Well-deserved promotions with financial benefits.

– *Thirteenth Month Salary:* An additional month’s salary introduced.

– *Reward/Motivation for Exceptional Performance*: Recognition and rewards for outstanding Staff.

– *Regular Training*: Ongoing training for Staff development.

– *Introduction of NHIS*: National Health Insurance Scheme for staff.

– *Career Growth Structure*: A clear path for professional advancement.

– *New Minimum Wage Implementation*: Approved by His Excellency, Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo.

Enehe’s leadership has not only boosted revenue but also improved Staff morale and welfare. His exceptional performance has earned him recognition as a result-oriented professional who delivers on his promises

Kudos to His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, for recognising Enehe’s potential and supporting his initiatives. The Kogi State Internal Revenue Service is indeed fortunate to have him at the helm of affairs.

Long live Kogi State! Long live KGIRS!
Long live Alhaji Sule Salihu Enehe!
