Forum Lauds Governor Ododo’s Commitment to Advancing Free Education.

Kogi Central Think Tank Forum,duly registered as Kogi Central For Peace and Development Initiative, has commended the Governor of kogi state, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, for consolidating on the previous work of former Governor Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello on free education in the state.

The Chairman of the Forum,Dr.Haroun Opotu Yussuff,gave the praise in an interview with our correspondent in Lokoja on Thursday.

According to him, this is one of the resolutions members arrived at the end of the Forum’s monthly meeting in Lokoja on Wednesday.

He also qouted the members as expressing delight that the governor paid the WAEC and NECO examination fees of over 18,789 students in public schools with N600 million.

“We equally thanked the governor for paying for the first school leaving examination fees for pupils in public primary schools.All these have shown that Governor Ododo is a very progressive leader.

“On October 31st,being Thursday, the governor launched Governor Ododo Business Outreach at the Glass house to enable business men and women strengthen their business acumen in the state and reach out to other colleagues outside the state.

“We are very proud of what is happening now,he has become a good ambassador of his predecessor, former Governor of kogi state, Alhaji Yahaya Bello. “We hope and pray that Ododo will continue to do much better.

” Our Forum will continue to support the present administration’s progressive ideas,and in whatever way we are expected to give support , we will do that, the forum chairman assured the governor.
