Prof. Abdullahi Sale officially took office at the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) headquarters in Abuja on Friday, September 13, 2024.

In his inaugural meeting with the commission’s Executive Staff,he noted with concern that evident from the minutes of last meeting showed that there are matters of urgency that need deliberations.

Prof. Sale, who expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to serve, prayed for Allah’s guidance for successful deliberations.

Key officials at the meeting are:Prof. Abubakar A. Yagawal, Commissioner for Planning, Research, Statistics, Information, and Library Services; Prince Anofi Elegushi, Commissioner for Operations, Inspectorate, and Licensing; and Prince Aliu AbdulRazaq.

Others are:Commissioner for Policy, Personnel Management, and Finance. Dr. Saleh Usman Muhammad, Special Assistant (Technical) to the Acting Chairman, according to information from NAHCON MEDIA PLATFORM.
