USLACC Africa Reps. Visit Comptroller of Maryland Ahead of Trade Conference in September.

Preparations are in top gear as the event planning officials of United States, Latino America Chambers of Commerce, USLACC Africa, visit the Comptroller of Maryland, Hon. Brooke Lierman in USA, on plans for a three day Trade Conference.

The African Representative of USLACC, Ambassador Ifeoma Mary Ejiogu, said the courtesy visit was to fine-tune arrangements for a successful business exhibition from September 19th to 21st, 2024.

During the meeting, which had in attendance, Deputy Secretary of State, Mr Michael W. Lore, Honourable Lierman declared her support for the forthcoming event, reassuring the delegates of physical participating in the epoch-making convergence of Africans and Americans to promote trade and investment.

She also saluted Ambassador Ifeoma Ejiogu for the role she’s playing in strengthening business relationships between the United States and Africa among other great work she’s doing for Africa.

Amb Ejiogwu said that, “it was such a great and historic time for USLACC Africa, such that pinpoints the great impact our organisation is making across Africa and beyond”.

According to her, “We look forward to an event that will massively showcase the great opportunities of Africa in order to draw investors, equip Africans with knowledge for global relevance and inturn contribute massively to Africa’s economic growth”.

The theme of the conference is “Exploring African Trade, Culture and Sustainability Modules in USA”.

Special features include Exhibition, Cultural Performances, seminars and deepening the US Africa Trade and Investment Relationship.

Ambassador Ifeoma Ejiogu is being accompanied on the preparatory visit to the United States by some of the Committee members including, Attorney Akakpunwa (Aky) Mbalewe Onuoha,
Mr Benjamin Anyanwu, Pastor Jude Ojiaku, Engr. Edwin Udenkwo, Mrs Chereane Johnson.

Our Correspondent reports that registration for the three day conference is already on-going across Africa.
