Today,is the birthday of the newest first lady in the country, the wife of the Executive Governor of Kogi State, Hajia Sefinat Usman Ododo.
Her outstanding role as a supportive wife and mother was greatly acknowledged and duly appreciated by the Executive Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman,in his inaugural address at a momentous occasion in Lokoja, Kogi state capital,recently.
True, the amiable first lady is a symbol of humanity,who wears her compassionate disposition for the less privileged in the society, like a barge of honour.
Her love and total devotion to the cause of the girl child and women is legendary.
The Okene born first lady, has a long history of service to humanity as she has committed herself to a life of selflessness as a philanthropist, business woman, beacon of hope and role model to the women folks in the state.
There is no gainsaying that her life is woven around providing succor and sustainable development for the less privileged in the state.
Recall that recently she singlehandedly sponsored no fewer than 35 children to acquire computer education and training at a reputable computer school in Kogi central.
Hajia Sefinat is an outstanding first lady whose official duties are already part of her natural character and background.
She holds a lot promise for the less privileged and Kogi women in the years ahead.
On this special and auspicious occasion of her birthday, I wish her sound health, continued wisdom, long life and prosperity.
She is a humble,down to earth and pragmatic woman of substance.
She is a first lady poised to make a difference.
