Security operatives kill 2 daredevil Kidnappers in kogi,2 escape

Security operatives of Idah Local Governnent Area of kogi state on Tuesday, killed two daredevil Kidnappers during a gun duel between them and the Kidnappers in the area while two other Kidnappers escaped with bullet wound, in a renewed effort to rid the area and the state at large of crime and criminality.

The Reporters gathered that the kidnappers have been perpetuating havoc within the area while security operatives had been on their trail.

The Chairman the council,Mr Abuh Odoma,who confirmed the story attributed the victory of the operatives to the support they received from the governor, Alhaji Yahaha Bello.

The Chairman expressed the commitment of the council in ensuring that every nook and cranny of the state is guaranteed of safety of life and prosperity in consonance with the declaration of the governor against criminals in the state.

Reacting to the issue, the State Security Adviser, retired Commodore Jerry Omodara, stressed the need for continued vigilance by citizens, particularly those within the rural communities.

Omdara,who said that security required collective responsibility of everybody said that all hands must be on deck to ensure that the entire state is rid of criminal elements and their sponsors

He noted that the state government, under the leadership of Governor Bello, had consistently displayed competence and capacity in the area of security, adding that it would not rest on its oars to rid the state of criminal activities.
