Kidnappers abduct medical doctor in kogi–NMA

A medical practitioner, Dr Rakyat Musa, has been kidnapped in Kogi State according to the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA), state branch.

The State Chairman of NMA, Dr Abubakar Alhassan and the secretary, Udebuani Chimezie, made the disclosure in a statement they issued a copy made available to The Reporters in lokoja on Thursday.

The dou said has Dr Musa was forcefully taken away by the kidnappers on 21st June 21, 2022 on Geregu-Ajaokuta stretch of Geregu Ajaokuta- Lokoja road while returning from an official assignment at Anyigba in the state.

According to them, Dr Rukayat Musa works with the NHIS office in Lokoja.

They called on the government and all security agencies to work very hard towards her early and safe return of Dr. Musa.

Our Correspondent recalls that armed men, suspected to be kidnappers on Tuesday,abducted seven people, including Dr. Musa a lawyer and five others victims.
