The Police Command in kogi state says it has arrested three suspects, (name withheld), in connection with the murder of Pastor Alimi Victor of the Deeper Life Bible Church at Okaito, Okehi Local Government Area of Kogi State.
The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) for the Police Command in the state,SP William Aya, disclosed this to the Correspondent of The Reporters in Lokoja on Saturday while confirming the story in a telephone interview.
According to him, the three suspects are already undergoing interrogation at the Criminal Investigation Department (CID), assuring that the command is doing everything possible to unearth the killers of the religious leader and make them face Justice.
Our Correspondent gathered that Pastor Victor was said to be on his way home from church service at Okaito area, on Kabba-Okene road when he was abducted and hacked to death by his assailants over undisclosed issues.
The online publication recalls that Aya was one of the officers of the command recently promoted to their next rank by the police authorities.
