Group Unveils Activities For Good Governance in Nigeria on Monday

A newly registered non-governmental and non-profit making organization, South, West, East, North of Nigeria (SOWENON) Coordinated Initiative, will commence activities on Monday, October 4, 2021, geared towards repositioning Nigeria for good governance.

The Director, Communications of the organization, Elder Taiwo Shobajo, said there would be a news conference at OZAS Suites and Garden, Karu, Abuja at 10.00a.m.in a statement.

According to to him, the association would launch its mission and vision to the nation at the event.

Elder Shobajo added that the organization was being floated to complement government’s laudable efforts in the area of good governance, empowerment programmes through capacity building; provision of humanitarian support and promotion of civic education among others.

The Director of Communications further explained that the ultimate goal of the outfit was to work towards making Nigeria a country of our dream.

He added that the Chairman of Board of Trustees of SOWENON initiative, Dr Sam Jenfa, who would be unavoidably absent due to urgent assignments outside Nigeria, would be represented by his Vice, Rev ( Dr) Sunday Onuche, JP at the event.
