As the burial ceremony for the pioneer President Customary Court of Appeal, FCT Judiciary, Justice Moses Bello entered the last stage on Saturday,Mr Barth Omaku,Secretary, Protocol Committee for the event has advised members of the committe to be “visible, diligent and hospitable”.
In a statement he signed and a copy made available to The Reporters in Okene on Saturday, Omaku said the advice became necessary in anticipation that top government functionaries and highly respected personalities, from all levels of life, would be drawn to the the burial ceremony.
The secretary, who commended members of the committee and “every member of the house for the job done so far”, said “for us to have a hitch- free programme at the High Mass today,team spirit will be highly appreciated and acknowledged.”
He encouraged members to get closer as “the corpse leaves for Christ the King Catholic Church, through mission road Okene at 9:30 a.m., with their protocol tag.
“We have the followings as our parking spots:(A) St. Johnbosc’s College Compound,off King Ado’s Palace, CKC Okene,(B) Okene Mission-Karaworo road sides,because of the peculiarities of the church terrane and for easy flow of traffic and for the fact that the Mission road would be collapsed for one lane alone,”he added.
He explained that vehicles coming through Okene Mission road would only be allowed to drive out by Karaworo Mission road.(One-way),and stressed the need for continued collaboration with the security personnel, for a well coordinated exercise.
The online media platform recalls that Justice died at the age of 68 on August 2 during a brief illness, leaving a wife, children as well as other relations to mourn him.
