The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has elevated and decorated 66 Officers and 121 Marshals in the Lagos state sector following the recent promotion in the commission by the board of the commission through out the country.
Mrs Olabisi Sonusi, the Education Officer of FRSC, Lagos state command state, who made the disclosure in a statement in Lagos on Wednesday said the those promoted include: 1 Assistant Corps Commander, 4 Superintendent Route Commander, 41 Route Commander, 20 Deputy Route Commanders.
She said that the newly promoted Officers and Marshals had displayed high level of dedication and diligence to deserve the promotion.
The Zonal Head Admin and Human Resources, Deputy Corps Commander Joseph Ezeh,represented the Zonal Commanding Officer Assistant Corps Marshal Peter Kibo at the occasion.
Kibo,who commended the Board and Management for rewarding hard work by rewarding the newly promoted officers and Marshals, called the newly promoted officers and Marshals to be more dedicated to duty to justify the confidence reposed in them by promotion.
He reminded them that” promotion comes with more responsibility.”
The Corps Marshal of the Corps,, Dr Boboye Oyeyemi, represented by the Lagos state Commander, Corps Commander Olusegun Ogungbemide, congratulated the newly promoted officers and Marshals.
He expressed delight for witnessing the elevation and progress of his subordinates in their chosen profession of saving lives on the roads but admonished them to be more diligent in discharging their duties for the actualisation of the Corps’ mandate.
