Mr.Oladele John Nihi, Special Adviser to Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo on Youth and Student Matters, on Friday ,donated a motorcycle to the Zango Branch of the Nigeria Forest Guard in Kogi State to strengthen its operations against insecurity and crime.

The donation, he said, aligns with ongoing efforts to support Governor Ododo’s commitment to peace and security across the state, adding that the gesture underscores the administration’s resolve to rid Kogi of criminality.

“This motorcycle is a symbol of our commitment to completing the Governor’s mission to rid Kogi State of insecurity, crime and criminality,” he stated.

Nihi, who serves as the Patron of the Nigeria Forest Guard, had earlier donated ₦500,000 to the organisation to assist with office accommodation.

He commended the guards for their courage and dedication to community safety, urging them to sustain collaboration with other security agencies to ensure lasting peace in the state.

Responding, the Commander of the Nigeria Forest Guard, DFO Sunday A. Samuel, expressed appreciation to Nihi for the donation, assuring him that the motorcycle would be deployed effectively to enhance security operations in the area.

The gesture has been widely described as a timely boost to grassroots security efforts, reinforcing Governor Ododo’s Renewed Hope Agenda for a safer and more secure Kogi State.
