Salem University VC Commends Archbishop Amaga for Inspiring 2025 Outpouring Conference

The Vice Chancellor of Salem University, Lokoja, Prof. Alewo Johnson-Akubo, has commended the university’s Chancellor, Archbishop Sam Amaga, for the successful commencement of the 2025 Salem Outpouring Conference.

Speaking with journalists on Friday in Lokoja, Prof. Johnson-Akubo described the conference, which opened in Abuja, as a highly impactful annual spiritual awakening for Christians within and outside Nigeria.

He explained that the four-day event, themed “The Beauty and the Responsibility of Faith,” is hosted by Foundation Faith Church, also known as Salem Family Worldwide.

The Vice Chancellor praised Archbishop Amaga—the visionary founder and Chancellor of Salem University—as an astute leader and divine gift to this generation, whose spiritual guidance continues to transform lives across the world.

According to him, the Salem Outpouring Conference, which began on Thursday, has become one of Nigeria’s most significant Christian gatherings, designed to encourage kingdom impact and inspire godly living that promotes peace and national development.

“The conference provides an atmosphere for attendees to deepen their personal relationship with God,” he said. “It serves as a platform for spiritual renewal, healing, and teachings that motivate believers to live out their faith and love humanity for peaceful coexistence.”

Johnson-Akubo noted that participants from across the world attend the event for divine encounters that feature prophetic impartations, apostolic teachings, and uplifting worship experiences.

He added that the conference is renowned for testimonies of miracles, healings, and personal transformation, underscoring its enduring impact on participants.

The Vice Chancellor urged Christians across Nigeria to take advantage of the ongoing conference to renew and strengthen their faith in God and to positively impact others through service, humility, and devotion.
