The Women In Agriculture Cooperative Federation Limited(WIACFL), has commended the Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, for approving the appointment of Alhaji Shuaibu Mohammed Otue as the new Onobobanyi-Anebira of Lokoja.

In a statement issued on Friday in Lokoja and signed by the National President of the Federation, Dr. (Mrs.) Esther Destiny Audu,with a copy made available to The Reporters in Lokoja, the group commended the appointment of Alhaji Otue.
It described the appointment as “well-deserved and a testament to his enduring contributions to peace, culture, and community development.”
Dr. Audu noted that Alhaji Otue, an illustrious son of Egbiraland, has over the years demonstrated exceptional leadership qualities, commitment to grassroots empowerment, and passion for cultural preservation, adding that these attributes mde him a perfect fit for the revered traditional position.
She further applauded Governor Ododo for his wisdom in approving the appointment, as well as the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Barrister Salami Ozigi Deedat, and others who played key roles in the process.
According to her, the Federation has great confidence that Alhaji Otue will bring his wealth of experience in cooperative leadership and community development to bear in his new role, ensuring progress and unity among the people.
“There is no doubt that your vast experience in cooperative organizations will give you a cutting edge in leadership. Women in Agriculture Cooperative Federation Limited loves you, celebrates you, and wishes you a successful and impactful reign filled with wisdom, strength, and divine grace,” Dr. Audu stated.
She prayed for God’s guidance upon the new Onobobanyi-Anebira of Lokoja, wishing him a peaceful and fruitful tenure that will further strengthen cultural heritage and community harmony in the state.
