There is renewed hope for love and reconciliation between Super Eagles goalkeeper Ojo Olorunleke and his wife, Tosin, as the couple prepare to return to the negotiation table, following the striking out of their divorce case by a Lokoja High Court.

Our correspondent reports that the once-troubled union, which had been on the brink of collapse, appears to be finding a glimmer of light after Ojo voluntarily withdrew his divorce petition a few days before the scheduled hearing on October 21, 2025.

In his earlier petition, the former Enyimba FC star admitted to adultery, expressing remorse over the misunderstanding that rocked their nine-year-old marriage but noted that his wife was not patient enough during their difficult moments.

Tosin, in her plea to the court, urged that their marriage should not be dissolved, saying she wished to keep the family united for the sake of their children. She also faulted her husband for allegedly allowing his supposed mistress to flaunt their relationship publicly on social media, insisting that she never agreed to a polygamous marriage.

Based on the resolve of the couple to settle out of court, the judge presiding over the matter, Justice Ada, struck out the case and advised the couple to explore amicable settlement, a decision that many see as a chance for the pair to heal and rebuild their relationship.

With the case now out of court, hopes are high that the football star and his wife will find common ground, putting their differences behind them and reigniting the love that once defined their marriage.

For now, admirers of the couple are keeping their fingers crossed, wishing that forgiveness, understanding, and love will triumph over pride and pain — bringing the Olorunlekes back together again.
