The Federal University Lokoja (FUL) was on Wednesday thrown into mourning following the sudden death of a promising 400-level Geology student, Danjuma Adinoyi Isiaka, who passed away just hours after writing his second to the last examination.

Our correspondent gathered that Danjuma, who was full of hope and excitement to sign out with his colleagues the following day soon never lived to see the day he had long anticipated.

The cruel hand of death struck without warning, cutting short his dreams and leaving his family, friends, and the entire university community heartbroken.

Colleagues describe him as gentle, kind-hearted, and ever cheerful, a young man whose future held so much promise.

According to them, the deceased’s passing has left a void that words cannot fill, turning what was meant to be a celebration of academic achievement into a season of tears.

As the FUL family grieves this painful loss, tributes continue to pour in from students and staff who are struggling to come to terms with the tragedy.

“May his gentle soul find eternal rest.
“Rest on, Danjuma. You will never be forgotten,” many of the said and prayed.
