Kogi Central Think Tank Forum Appoints Publisher as Public Relations Officer

The Kogi Central Think Tank Forum (KCTTF) has appointed Alhaji D.U. Ahmed as its new Public Relations Officer (PRO) to manage and promote the image of the forum.

The chairman of the forum, Dr. Haroun Opotu Yussuff, announced the appointment during an emergency meeting held on Monday at Alama Multipurpose Suite, Lokoja.

He also administered the oath of office to the newly appointed spokesperson.

Dr. Yussuff expressed confidence in Ahmed’s capacity to project the forum’s image and activities effectively, citing his impressive track record as a seasoned media practitioner.

In his acceptance speech, Alhaji Ahmed,who is the publisher of The Reporters,an online news publication,thanked members of the forum for the trust placed in him.

He assured them that he would justify the confidence reposed in him and pledged to discharge his duties with dedication and professionalism.

The KCTTF plays a pivotal role in the socio-economic and political development of Kogi State, particularly in promoting the interests of the Kogi Central Senatorial District.

The forum is committed to fostering unity among the diverse communities within the district and advancing collective development efforts beyond political and ethnic lines.

By championing peace and unity, the forum contributes to the overall development of the state.

It also serves as a platform for mentoring young politicians, promoting good governance, encouraging issue-based politics, and assessing political aspirants to ensure competent representation.

Our correspondent gathered that the next meeting of the forum is scheduled for Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at Alama Multipurpose Suite, Hassan Katsina Road, before Crusha Junction, Lokoja.
