Teen Camper Murdered in FCT: Police Arrest 3 Over Brutal Attack at Boys Brigade Camp

The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has made a breakthrough in a chilling murder case following a violent attack on a Boys Brigade camp in Zhayidna Village, Orozo, that left 16-year-old Johnson John dead.

Our correspondent reports that acting on credible intelligence and forensic tracking of the victim’s mobile phone, operatives from the Karshi Division, led by CSP Mbang Usang, arrested three suspects believed to be responsible for the deadly assault.

The Police spokesperson, SP Josephine Adeh,in a statement,confirmed the arrests of Stanley Ukweze, Dauda Yohana, and Gemu Adamu, all residents of Wasa Village in Karshi.

She said during the operation, three mobile phones were recovered,two of which have been identified as belonging to the deceased.

“The suspects are currently in custody and will face prosecution upon the conclusion of the investigation,” SP Adeh,”said.

The Police image maker quoted her boss,the Commissioner of Police, CP Ajao S. Adewale, as vowing a thorough and uncompromising investigation, assuring the public that justice would be served.

She urged FCT residents to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity through the FCT Police emergency hotlines: 0803 200 3913, 0802 894 0883, 0705 733 7653 or via the Complaint Response Unit at 0810 731 4192.
