The Zone 7 Police Headquarters,Abuja, has appointed a new Public Relations Officer, ASP Mohammed Halima Pamela, who officially assumed duties on Wednesday.
ASP Pamela replaces SP Mustapha Abdulkadir, who has been redeployed to the Kaduna State Police Command for other assignments.
A native of Edo State, ASP Pamela is a graduate of Sociology from the Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil (Regular Course 3).
She,who brings with her, a strong background in policing and public relations,previously served as Administrative Officer and Surveillance Team Leader at the Ekpoma Division, Edo State Police Command.
Pamela is also an active member of the International Association of Women Police (IAWP).
Her professional qualifications include a Fellowship Certificate in Security and Forensic Studies, a Certificate in Advanced Peace and Reconciliation, and a Professional Advanced Diploma in Criminology and Security.
She has completed several specialized police trainings, including:Advanced Detective Course at the Police Staff College, Jos;Police Mobile Force Training, Ila-Orangun, Osun State and Police Combat Training with MOPOL 5, Benin.
As the new Zonal spokesperson, ASP Pamela said would be responsible for managing public communications and promoting the image of Zone 7 Police Command.
In her inaugural statement, she pledged to operate an open-door policy and ensure continuous engagement with the public and stakeholders.
“I am committed to serving with transparency, accessibility, and professionalism. I urge all well-meaning citizens to work with us for a safer society,” she said.
