Governor Umo Eno of Akwa Ibom State has dissolved his cabinet, emphasizing the need to infuse new ideas and expertise to advance the state’s development goals.

The governor disclosed this on Friday during a valedictory session held at the Executive Council Chamber in Uyo.

Governor Eno commended the outgoing commissioners and special advisers for their commitment and performance, noting that their contributions were instrumental in the success of his administration’s Arise Agenda.

“All of you have delivered, which is why the Arise Agenda has thrived. “However, we must transition into a new phase to sustain progress and achieve greater milestones,”he stated.

Our correspondent gathered that many of the outgoing commissioners had served for nearly a decade, with some initially appointed under former Governor Udom Emmanuel.

Governor Eno had retained them to allow for the completion of their tenure as a mark of recognition for their service.
