Brazen Rice Heist : Governor Sule Vows Crackdown on Jangwa Farm Thieves.

The Nasarawa State Governor, Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule, has condemned the rampant theft of harvested rice from the government-owned farm in Jangwa, branding the culprits as “unscrupulous elements” undermining the state’s agricultural progress.

Speaking through his Chief Press Secretary, Ibrahim Addra, Governor Sule lamented, “While the government is pleased with the impressive yield, we are deeply saddened by the extent of theft during the harvest.”

His remarks came during a meeting with a delegation from the Azara community, led by His Royal Highness, Sarkin Azara, Dr. Kabiru Musa Ibrahim, who were on a thank-you visit.

Describing the theft as a serious setback to the state’s efforts to enhance food security and alleviate hardship, Governor Sule pledged swift action.
