Dangote Petroleum Refinery has announced a reduction in the price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) from N990 per litre to N970 per litre.
The company, in a statement, said the move is in a move to appreciate Nigerians for their support and foster economic well-being
“This is our way of thanking the good people of Nigeria for their unwavering support in making the refinery a reality.
” We also extend our gratitude to the government for their backing, as this reduction aligns with efforts to promote domestic enterprise and collective prosperity,” it said.
The refinery assured consumers of high-quality, environmentally sustainable petroleum products while emphasizing its commitment to ramping up production to meet and exceed Nigeria’s fuel demands, thereby dispelling fears of shortages.
As the year ends, this gesture underscores Dangote Refinery’s dedication to enhancing affordability and reliability in the nation’s energy sector, the company added.
Some residents of Lokoja, kogi state, particularly motorists,who reacted to the company’s gesture in an interview with our correspondent commended the chairman of the company, Alhaji Aliko Dangote but advised him to brace to establish filling stations.
According to them, the move would enable residents buy the product at a price lower than other filling stations in the country.
