The ODU Akowe Political Network (Youth and Student Wing) has called on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to intervene and stop the ongoing harassment of former Kogi State Governor Alhaji Yahaya Bello by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

According to the wing, the EFCC should to be told on the need to refrain from diverting attention from governance with inquiries into alleged infractions involving Governor Bello.

“Instead, they should allow the current administration to focus on advancing the state,” Akowe said.

“It’s time to shift the focus from investigation to innovation and progress,” the wing added.
