A senior citizen doing brisk-walking exercise in his compound.Old age, they say, is in the mind. If you believe you are old and relax in taking part in some light physical exercises commensurate with your age, health experts say you will surely get aged quickly, perhaps beyond your expectation.

Though aging is inevitable in life, but there are physical exercises, prescribed by health experts, that can aid your aging process to your delight.
Experts take it up from here:
How often should seniors jog?
Adults aged 65 and older need: At least 150 minutes a week (for example, 30 minutes a day, 5 days a week) of moderate-intensity activity such as brisk walking. Or they need 75 minutes a week of vigorous-intensity activity such as hiking, jogging, or running. At least 2 days a week of activities that strengthen muscles.

Why is walking good for elderly people?

Strengthen your bones, and prevent osteoporosis and osteoarthritis (regular walking could halve the number of people over 45 who fracture their hip). Help reduce blood pressure in some people with hypertension. Improve your balance and coordination, and decrease your likelihood of falling. Keep your joints flexible.

Of course, the totality of it all is that, engaging in physical activities, including laughter, according health experts, will save the senior citizens the trouble of visiting hospital to find lasting solution to one disease or the other.
