The morning shows the day is a common and general statement any where in the world.

There is no gainsaying that the government of Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman is solidly and firmly on course,as he grapples with the challenges of governance since his inauguration.

After just few weeks in the saddle, Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman has started on a positive note, that clearly defines his vision and unwavering commitment to improving the welfare of the citizens and the security of lives and properties in the state,in the years ahead.

This is just as he flagged off the first leg of his quarterly distribution of palliatives, targeted for the benefit of indigents and the poorest of the poor in the society.

At the commencement ceremony in Lokoja on February 20,2024, the governor reiterated his administration’s covenant with the people of the state by impacting on their lives through people oriented programs and policies.

He warned those that would take charge of the distribution of the palliatives against hoarding of the essential commodities, saying that the items are not meant for APC members or any particular ethnic and religious affiliations alone.

He stated clearly that the palliatives are meant for all Kogites.

Events since the governor hit the ground running have shown clearly that his administration is in a hurry to fulfill his people- oriented campaign promises by building on the legacies of his predecessor, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello.

One of the landmark achievements of the immediate past governor of Kogi State Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello was his success story in the area of security.

In view of the foregoing,it is heartwarming to recall that governor Ododo have been talking tough of his zero tolerance for the hydraheaded insecurity in Kogi State, that is gradually becoming another recurring decimal in the state, in recent time.

He warned the criminal elements to stay clear from the state, stressing that he is prepared to wage a decisive war against the undesirable elements.

On his readiness to improve the infrastructure architecture in Kogi State, the governor announced that his administration would be delivering no fewer than 100 basic projects in the rural communities across the three senatorial districts of the state in his 100 days in office.

Viewed against this background therefore, it is becoming very obvious that the administration of Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman would leave no stone unturned to deliver quality and purposeful leadership in Kogi State.

The new Kogi State of our dreams is possible under the visionary leadership of Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman.

Indeed, the governor is on course as he pilots the affairs of the state.

Let’s join hands with him to engender a prosperous, economically virile , united, peaceful and politically vibrant Kogi State, that would be a pride to all Kogites.

The era of consolidation and continuity under Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman have started.
