Minister solicits prayer for Zack Orji as veteran actor undergoes brain surgery.

The Minister of Arts, Culture, and the Creative Economy, Hannatu Musawa, has called on Nigerians has appealed to Nigerians to be in prayer for the Nollywoid veteran actor, Zack Orji.
Our correspondent recalls that the 63-year-old actor was said to have fell down in his house in Abuja, on the eve of Christmas , went into comma and was rushed to the National Hospital, Abuja for medical treatment.
In a statement by her Media Assistant, Nneka Anibrze in Abuja, shared on Facebook,Musawa disclosed that actor had brain surgery in a private hospital, Wuse, Abuja on January 1,2024, and urged Nigerians to rally round the ailing actor to ensure his recovery.
Musawa made the appeal when she paid a visit to the actor at a private hospital in Wuse, Abuja.
The minister, who expressed sympathy for the veteran actor’s family,described him as a national asset and also expressed confidence in his recovery.
She said:”God will heal him and he will be well. We will do all we can to support him. We solicit the collective prayers of Nigerians because he is like a part of our families.
“We have watched him entertain us and we see him as a national treasure. So the best we can do is to ensure that we support him to have the best treatment.”
