Obidient Movement Kogi State Coordinating Council has expressed sadness over the death of its Director, Logistics and Mobilization, Comrade Victor Christopher Urahojo, (aka Senator).
Sources said that Victor died in a ghastly motor accident on December 26 on Abuja – Lokoja highway.
The State Coordinator of the organization, Comrade Sunday Bala Oma,in his condolence message to the family of the deceased, described Victor’s death as shocking and devastating.
Oma, who expressed disbelieve at Victor’s sudden demise, described him as a brother and a personal friend whom he worked worked closely with from their university days.
Oma said: “Because of the love Chris had for positive change, he sacrificed his time; intellect and resources to ensure “we achieve our common goal at ensuring Nigeria has visionary leaders that will transform society.
“It was for this purpose he lived and died. Chris will be greatly missed by all and sundry. A colossus has just been lost and will be difficult to replace,”he said.
Oma advised Nigerians to emulate the deceased’s positive lifestyle, and admonished leaders not to abuse the opportunity God gives them to serve the people.
“Someday, we shall all return to our maker to explain how we maximized the time and resources God entrusted us while on earth,” he added,” he added.
He prayed God to comfort the family of the deceased and Kogi state, and grant his immediate family the fortitude to bear this irreplaceable loss.
