Upcoming artist emerges champion of 1st Kogi Blazing Mic Talent Hunts.

A young and upcoming musical artist in Lokoja, kogi state, north central Nigeria, Olusegun Adeshebioba,on Saturday in Lokoja, emerged the champion of 1st Kogi Blazing Mic Talent Hunts and smiled home with a prize of N1.5 million.

Our correspondent reports that the two-day event, organised by Black Wall Street and Majesty Movie is aimed at showcasing upcoming artists.

Yul Edochie,another veteran actor, advising the participants during the event.
Speaking before the presentation of prizes to the third, second and first winners, a veteran actor, Prince Jide Kosoko, congratulated all the participants but urged those who not make to the top not to to be discouraged but see that as a challenge to put more efforts to win prize in subsequent events.
According to him, all the participants have a role to play in the entertainment world, adding that the sector has room for many people to be gainfully employed, irrespective of their educational qualification.
Another speaker and a notable actor as well,Yul Edochie, stressed that the entertainment industry is not meant for the lazy.
He called on the participants to be committed to the cause of learning how to act very well, being proficient in speaking English, dress well, avoid imitating, pull him down among others and strive to be original in their acting pursuit among others.
The event, which took place at the auditorium of Majesty International school, lokoja, featured various musical renditions and dances by youths among other side attractions.
