Dr.Abdul Rahman Ado Ibrahim,HRH, the Ohinoyi of Ebiraland in Okene, Kogi state, north central Nigeria,has died at the age of 94.
The Reporters gathered that the first class traditional ruler died
One of the sons of the king, Ado Ibrahim said his father passed on at about 2a.m at a hospital in Abuja on Sunday.
The online publication recalls that deceased king assumed the throne of the traditional institution as Ohinoyi of Ebiraland in 1997, following the death of Alhaji Sanni Omolori.
The late Ohinoyi of Ebiraland was a product of Ondo Boys High School and Oduduwa College where he received his secondary school education.
He later obtained B.Sc degree in Economics from the London School of Economics in 1954 and an MBA from Harvard Business School in 1959.
Our correspondent gathered that the remains of the first class traditional ruler was being conveyed from Abuja to Okene for his burial according to Muslim rites on Sunday as at the time of this report.
