Remember us at heart in distribution of palliatives, kogi retirees urge Kogi govt.

Pensioners in the state have been called upon to keep hope alive, despite current economic challenges in the country.
The state Chairman of Nigeria Union of Pensioners, Engr.Clement Ehindero made the call while speaking with newsmen in Lokoja.
Engr. Clement said the situation facing members of the union is biting,stressing that they would soon get over.
The Chairman maintained that pensioners, been senior citizens of the country, needed to be provided with their welfare.
Engineer Clement Commended the federal government for the release of palliatives and resources to the people of the country but appealed to the state government to have members of the union at heart in the distribution of the palliatives.
He reiterated determination of the union to improve on the welfare of members in the state. adding that there’s hope for the people in the present Administration in the state.
Engr. Ehindero told members to rally support to the candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC,Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, in the forth coming Governorship Election in November 11,2023 and expressed confidence that Ododo would lead the state with the fear of God.
He appealed to the state government to look into the gratuity of local government retirees to enable attend to various pressing financial and other family and personal commitments.
According to him gratuity is the is the entitlement of the retirees.
