The masses in Lokoja,kogi State in north central Nigeria say they have devised means of checking hunger, a manifestation of the current economic quagmire confronting Nigerians.

Conscious of this ugly scenario, some youths, especially females,have cashed in on this development to began a small scale business of combined sale of small quantity of garri, groundnut and sugar at N150 per measure for the poor to quench hunger.

One of those engage in such business,Miss Halima Mohammed, told our correspondent in Lokoja that she made at least N1,000 gain every selling such good stuff.

For those cut in the cubweb of hunger, the sellers provide cup and spoon for them to consume the combine commodity with N10.00 worth of water sachet, popularly called “pure water”, to keep the body and soul together.

Economic analysts argued the current harsh economic reality in the country has thought many Nigerians to look inward to venture into small scale but viable business ventures to survive.
