Unknown gunmen kill 2 in kogi

For the second time in few weeks after unidentified gunmen attacked a church at Felele, a suburb of Lokoja, kogi State,they once again attacked another church,a Celestia church, also known aa Blood of Jesus Parish, in the same area, Sunday evening,killed two persons and injured many others

Sources disclosed that the Gunmen in many numbers, stormed the church at about 8:00pm Sunday, opened fire at the members who are residing within church, located behind the NNPC Mega petrol station in Felele area of Lokoja.

According to sources, the remains of the deceased had been recovered and deposited at the Federal Medical Centre(FMC), Lokoja while the injured had commenced treatment.

The Police Public Relations Officer(PPRO), for the Police Command in the state, SP. Williams Ayah,who confirmed the attack with our Correspondent in a telephone in Lokoja,said two females were killed.

According to Aya the Command has deployed its men to the area to arrest the perpetrators and bring them to Justice.
