Nasarawa Information Commissioner Kidnapped

Gunmen suspected to be Kidnappers have abducted Mohammed Lawal, the Nasarawa State Commissioner for Information and his son, Mushab Mohammed Yakubu Lawal.

Sources from Lafia, the state capital, told the The Reporters on Tuesday that the duo were kidnapped at their residence, GRA, Nasarawa Eggon at about 9.30 p.m on Monday.

The online publication gathered that the gunmen,who stormed the commissioner’s residence and abducted him together with his son, later released Mushab and went away with the Commissioner to unknown destination.

Details later as efforts to rescue the commissioner alive commences, according to family sources.
