The Ebira indigenes of the Central Senatorial district of Kogi State, home and abroad,out of patrotic expression for their father land recently gave birth to a platform , called Ebira World Wide( EWW).
The essence of the platform, The Reporters gathered, is for them to pay back to Ebiraland with expertise and resources in their various places of endeavours, for the social and economic development of the their ancestral home.
To match words with action, the management of the platform, led by their Executive Chairman, Alhaji Abdullahi Sken Ogu,decided to inaugurate the meeting of the global platform where they introduced themselves to one another and shared ideas and thoughts on the way forward for Ebiraland.
Speaking with the Correspondent of Ki Izeza tv at the occasion, Ogu stressed the need for all ebira sons and daughters,all over the world, to come home and invest part of their resources for the over all development of their father land.
According to him, the platform is opened to ebiras with mind to contribute meaningfully to the development of Ebira land.
The occasion, our Correspondent further reports, is for members to put the platform into proper footing in Ebiraland, with a view to hitting the ground running for the actualisation of their aims and objectives.
The colourful occasion was attended by who is who on the platform from many parts of the country and beyond the shores of Nigeria.
