TUF raises 5-man Caretaker Committee for election

An NGO, Traffic Update Family (TUF), also known as Road Users Development Network of Nigeria (RUDEN), has constituted a 5-man Caretaker Committee to run its affairs for three months and workout plans for the election of new Exco.

A statement from the NGO and a copy made available to The Reporters in Lokoja on Monday, said that the decision to set up the committee emanated from the Congress meeting headed by Mr Attach Ikharo in Abuja on Saturday,based on the opinion of members sampled at the meeting.

“After all is said said and done, everybody aired his/her mind and at the end, Engr. Mangu suggested to dissolve the and set up Caretaker Committee to overseas TUF affairs. His suggestion was accepted and the following members were nominated

1. Barr. Obi
2. Mrs Assumphta
3. Mrs. Cupi
4. Mr. Mela
5. Mr. Goodluck

“They were mandated to work within the confide of three months and plan for Elections.

The Reporters, an online publication, reports that TUF is an idea of some patrotic Nigerians desirous of contributing their qota to effective management roads and ensure easy of traffic for commuters in the country.

It was registered with Corporate Affairs Commission(CAC), Abuja about 10 years and members have made impact in filling potholes around the FCT, feel the harrowing experience of commuters on roads, especially the ever busy Maraba Nyanya/road.

Members of TUF, through their social media platform, have also made useful suggestions to the government on how to ensure that commuters enjoy good road through the country.
