Christians urged to imbibe virtues of Jesus Christ

Christians have again been enjoined to always exhibit the virtues of Jesus Christ in whatever position and place they occupy.

A Cleric, Reverend Helen Oluwakorode, who made the call at the annual Convention of Ilorin West Women CAN (WOWICAN), Ilorin on Sunday also advised Christians to be conscious of the mandate given them by Jesus Christ that being to preach the gospel in other to give light to the world,full of darkness.

Reverend Oluwakorode reminded the Christians of the need to be steadfast in serving God, stressing that God would always remember those that served Him truthfully.

Speaking on the theme, “Praises for Liberty” at the forty first service of songs of the Seraphim Singers, Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church Ilorin District Headquarters, Pastor Ola-Olu Adeyemo called on Christians to always praise God to receive more from the creator.

Pastor Taiye Aransiola of United Evangelical Miracle Church off Yidi road Ilorin, in his message, “Your faith is your limit”,who explained that as an individual, there was no limit to what God can make people to become in life, urged Christians to continue to grow in faith, to receive more blessing.

Speaking at this month anionting service with the theme “Anionting for visitation”, Pastor Aremu Abioye of the Ark of God Covenant Faith Bible Ministry, Amayo,a suburb of Ilorin, emphasised the need for Christians to remain steadfast in prayer to overcome all challenges.

Also, Pastor ldowu Constain of the New Life Gospel Church Gaa-Akanbi, ilorin, in his message at the Good News Band anniversary, urged Christians to imbibe the virtues of Jesus Christ in whatever they did toward spreading the Gospel to unbelievers.

Pastor Kayode Omotosho of the C.A. C. Anu-sogo-lorimi kilanko village, Ilorin in his sermon at the eighth year church anniversary with the theme “Season of restoration”, admonished christian faithful to be patience, adding that God is able to restore life into a lifeless situation pointing out that His way is beyond human knowledge and comprehension.
