Mr Godwin Ezeemo on Monday, at his party office in Awka drumed his sound commitment towards the growth and development of PDP in Anambra State, amid the insinuation that he will soon leave the party.

Ezeemo, who contested the recent PDP primaries, cleared the air while addressing members of his campaign movement stated that, it was important that he clear the air and properly address the rising questions about his continuous stay in PDP.

He emphatically maintained that, since he joined the Peoples Democratic party, his vision and commitment to the party remained the same.

Ezeemo said:’ “What we need and must work on is the leadership system and how best to utilize our resources without selfish interest to better our state”.

“Part of my major interest as a party man is to find a way to ensure that our party maintain a strong and people-oriented leadership within our party and further extend this through quality service delivery”.

He bemoaned the sad and dangerous thread the nation’s political system was heading to, saying, “If we must revive our party, we must do away with monetizing our political arrangement”.

He stressed that “anybody thinking that Mr Godwin Ezeemo will be leaving PDP to any other party is having the wrong thought as he is more committed to the development and betterment of PDP.”
