At every slight mention of good governance in Nigeria, the attention and reactions of most Nigerians will reflect sadness and disappointment. This is such a consistent but very bad one, owing to how old we are today from independence.

The story of our bastardized leadership system in recent time is no different across many states with Anambra State hosting one for the worst experience of it recently.

Anambra State had s fair share of what leadership is all about during the time of former governor, HE Peter Obi, whose adminstration layed the desired flame work that would propel the state to greater height, should subsequent administration followed suit. He was able to reduce cost of governance, diverting resources to the development of the state in key sectors, thus placing the state on top of the radar on economic growth.

Unfortunately, the hope of Anambrarians was short-lived with the advent of the current governor of the state, taking the state many steps backwards. Today,Anambra could hardly stand side by side with other states that are serious with good governance.

This year again Anambra will hold it’s Governorship election, the anticipation is high with many calling for a high profile, robust economic expert Industrialist and Social Entrepreneure that will recapture the state back to working again.

This is exactly where Anambra stakeholders, Pressure groups,Students Union, Market Associations, Artisans, Religious leaders and all concern Anambrarians need to pull together to ensure that it is not businesss as usual. This is entirely and all about the betterment of Anambra State and not for any single or group of persons interest.

Anambra can be better is more than a slogan that must be sustained for the good and betterment of our state. This movement, initiated by Mr Godwin Ezeemo through his PHASE³, is the catalyst that will spur development, drive economic growth and recovery, create jobs, boost our agricultural sector, improve the health sector, revive our dying sports sector, restore relevance and attention to our tourism, master a working Educational system, invest in tech and innovation, boost the Security of the state, restore peace in crisis prone Community, and further provide a conducive environment for all.

The above remains the dream and hope of every Anambrarian, hence, we must welcome and support this movement through Mr Godwin Ezeemo.
