COVID-19: President Buhari receives AstraZeneca vaccine, Governors to follow

Abuja

The President, Muhammadu Buhari has been vaccinated against COVID-19 with AstraZeneca vaccine which arrived in Nigeria on Tuesday.

 

The Reporters gathered that the president was vaccinated by his personal physician on Saturday at about 11:51 a.m at a brief ceremony witnessed by top government officials at the New Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

He was the first among the nation’s strategic leaders to take the vaccine after some frontline health workers at the treatment centre of the National Hospital, Abuja, got vaccinated on Friday.
