Oil prices up, same for energy demand

Brent oil futures gained 0.51% to trade at $48.86/barrel and the West Texas Intermediate futures ticked up by 0.46% to trade at $45.92/barrel, according to nairametricts.

An economic analyst, Mr August Alani, who spoke with The Reporters”correspondent in Lokoja on Thursday, described the development as encouraging.

“It is a sign that Nigeria may have increased revenue to do more projects and programmes for the people, which will accelerate the country’exit from the recession,if the trend continues.
