Treat others with love to ensure peace— Cleric urges christians

Rev. FR. Peter Adeusi,
the Parish Priest of St. Philips Catholic Church, Esure/Ilomu-Ekiti, has called on the Christians to treat others with love to ensure peace in the society.

The cleric made call on Friday while officiating at the funeral of High Chief Moris Oyewole Agunbiade, the Obanla of Ilomu Ekiti, Ekiti state,who slept on April 18 at 107 years.

The Rev Fr.who described the deceased as somebody who cherished love and practised peaceful relationship with others as well as being a philanthropist during his lifetime on earth, advised the people to emulate the late Agunbiade.

The cleric also urged the Christians to be God-fear in their dealings with others as exemplified by the deceased, reminding them that every human being must taste death one day.

A correspondent of The Reporters,an online publication,reports that the deceased is survived by 14 children, a wife, Agnes and many grand children.

The first child of the deceased, Pastor Peter Afolabi Oyewole, who spoke on behalf of the family thanked all in attendance and the church of God for their support.

He also appreciated the state government and other stakeholders for ensuring a successful occasion.

Many people,including representative of the Ekti-State Governor, traditional rulers other Christian religious leaders and some members of staff of the News Agency of Nigeria(NAN), where one the children of the deceased, Celine works, attended the occasion.
